Y'ermain+Latriece's Modern Invitations

My August couple, Latriece and Y'ermain were a thrill to work with. They wanted photo invitations that truly expressed their style and personalities. PTRE delivered and the invites turned out FABULOUS!

The Front

The Back

The invitations were printed on a heavyweight shiny card and sealed in a metallic pink envelope. Congratulations, Latriece and Y'ermain! I can't wait to share pictures of your recent nuptials, too.

Photographic Feet, pt. 2

Notice a similarity in the photos below? The brides went with color! And, certainly they will be able to wear these shoes again with a smashing outfit afterwards.

Photographic Feet

It took you three months to find the perfect wedding day shoe and you look at them everyday until it is time for you to put them on before the ceremony. Many years after the wedding, you'll see photos of your veil, gown, rings, and your groom's tux...but what about your shoes?! I never really thought about it but in traditional photos, your shoes (or perfect pedicure) are more than likely not captured. It's a great thing to have modern photographers that will keep in mind all of the little details while shooting your pictures.

There are some great photo ops that can include the footsies. After posting about colorful socks for the groom to wear on the wedding day, I thought it would be neat to take a look at photos that capture your wedding day soles. Take a look at what I found.

Get That Ring Shot!

Ring Shots!  A must have photo take.  If you're on the web doing extensive research for your wedding, you have probably seen some creative photos of engagement rings and wedding ring sets.  Ring shots will not only add to your wedding album but just picture these photos framed on your office desk, living room wall, or coffee table.  They will definitely stir up conversation.  Here's a few shots that caught my eye.

If you're interested in getting these shots into your album, be sure to discuss this with your photographer.  Can't wait for the photographer to snap away?  You can do it yourself with the help of Anne Ruthmann.  She's written an extensive post for those with point and shoot cameras that want to capture the unique shots.
